BREAKING: Articles of Impeachment Filed Towards Tim Walz in Minnesota Home

Amid the massive fraud scandal that happened under his watch, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has already called off his re-election campaign.

But, that isn’t good enough.

As we find out more about the role Walz played in the fraud scheme, calls for his resignation are growing.

Yet, he’s refusing to step down.

So today, the Minnesota House took the first steps to forcibly remove Walz from office!

Check it out:

Four articles of impeachment have been filed against Gov. Tim Walz.

Eric Daugherty broke each one down:

BREAKING: Four Articles of IMPEACHMENT were just filed against Tim Walz in the Minnesota House

GOOD, kick him out of office!

1. Allowed fraud despite being warned
2. Engaged in the coverup
3. Allowed agencies to continue without any further safeguards
4. Allowed safeguards to be ignored and failed to ensure agencies complied with anti-fraud programs

Pass this. He should RESIGN before it’s even passed.

The impeachment effort against Walz is being led by a group of five Republican state representatives.

Local news outlet WCBM has more:

The representatives claim that Walz knowingly permitted or concealed widespread fraud across the state, interfered with oversight and corrective action relating to said fraud, placed “political consideration above lawful administration,” and failed in his constitutional duties.

Republicans have stressed that “all options are on the table” should Walz decline to resign.

The Republicans behind the impeachment move are State Reps. Mike Wiener, Pam Altendorf, Ben Davis, Krista Knudsen, and Drew Roach, according to Alpha News.

Unfortunately, the impeachment effort isn’t predicted to succeed.

The Western Journal reported:

The internal politics of Minnesota make the impeachment a long shot for success.

Republicans hold only a one-seat majority in the state House, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

The state Senate is tied at 33 votes for each party, after the Dec. 26 death of state Sen. Kari Dziedzic. Dziedzick, a Democrat and 12-year veteran of the legislature, died of cancer, according to CBS News.

Not only that, but special elections for House and Senate seats scheduled for Jan. 28 could change control in both houses, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

All of that means it might be possible that Republicans in the House could successfully muscle through an impeachment vote on the Democratic governor. But a conviction in the Senate, whether controlled by a bare majority of Republicans or Democrats, would still require a two-thirds majority — something all but impossible under the circumstances.

Still, it sends a clear message about the fall of Tim Walz.

In light of everything that’s been coming out recently, it’s scary to think he could have been our nation’s Vice President right now!

In addition to the impeachment effort, Tim Walz is also the subject of federal investigations related to the widespread fraud he allowed.

The day of reckoning for Tampon Tim is almost here…

It really would be in his best interest if he resigned — stat!
