Research Present Abortion Drugs are Harmful to Ladies
With the “abortion pill”—mifepristone—accounting for well over 60% of all abortions performed in the United States, National Right to Life News Today has run article after article after article critiquing mifepristone’s safety.
Just as an important aside, studies in Europe have found many more complications, in some cases, and numbers similar to the Ethics and Public Policy Center study which “found the abortion pill has severe risks,” according to Ryan T. Anderson and Jamie Bryan Hall, the authors of the EPPC study, in a piece they wrote yesterday for The Federalist.
Naturally, the Abortion Industry, represented by the ever-attentive Abortion, Every Day, blasted Anderson and Hall as they did when the study was first published in April. It was (what else?) “Junk Science.”

They taunted Anderson and Hall for having the gall to point out that former Washington Post factchecker Glenn Kessler former “carefully examined” their study and “ultimately did not assign us any of his famous ‘Pinocchios.’” What did Kessler, whose pro-abortion sympathies were obvious, find?
I went back to Kessler’s critique that found that, yes, indeed he had assigned no Pinocchios, his measure of levels of [in]accuracy. One commentator opined that Kessler “couldn’t find anything wrong enough with the study to assign it Pinocchios or give his fact-check a snarky, doubt-casting headline.”
Abortion, Every Day also slammed Anderson and Hall as mere “anti-abortion activist ‘researchers.’”
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The Abortion/Academic axis grinds out paper after paper after paper all produced by the same cohort of pro-abortion ‘researchers’ who all “critique” one another’s findings. Nice work if you can find it.
Conclusion? Anderson’s and Hall’s research stands out as “the largest-known study of the abortion pill, using real-world data.”
