Schizophrenia? Dem Approval Ranking Falls Off a Cliff, however Voters Have Baffling Response
The good news: more and more Americans have woken up to the fact that the Democrat party has become a dysfunctional, far-left group that cares far more about fringe issues and social justice warfare than they do about the lives of regular Americans.
The bad news: voters still want them to take over the House in the ’26 midterms.
Bizzare. Voters can be confounding — trust me, I know, because I live in the formerly Golden State of California, where residents keep voting in extremist buffoons and then watching the state burn down. I’ve never understood why so many people vote against what you would think would be their self-interest: safe streets and communities, an affordable lifestyle, and cities that aren’t dotted with homeless encampments and poop zones.
Nevertheless, a huge number of people are realizing that the Democrats have become a party of failure:
Just 18 percent of respondents approve of the job congressional Democrats are doing, according to a Quinnipiac survey released Wednesday, while 73 percent disapprove.
That approval rating marks a new low since Quinnipiac began asking the question in 2009, surpassing the 19 percent of voters who approved of Democrats in July.
Seventy-three percent disapprove?! Ouch.

The numbers are stark, and were clearly affected by the 43-day Schumer Shutdown, which began in October and didn’t come to an end until November 12.
Even among Democratic respondents, just 42 percent said they approve of how Democrats in Congress are performing, while 48 percent disapproved. In October, nearly 60 percent of Democratic respondents approved of how congressional Democrats were handling their jobs, while 36 percent disapproved.
CNN’s data guru Harry Enten got in a good line with his “Dead Sea” quip:
Cong Dems now have a -55 net approval, an all-time low & lower than the Dead Sea.
2 causes: Dems gives them a -6 pt net approval(!), & they’re at -61 pts with indies!
The effect? Dems lead on the generic ballot is less than half of what it was at this pt in the 06 & 18 cycles. pic.twitter.com/Os17D7BkHR

I wonder how Enten still has a job at CNN, since he seems to take such glee in the Dems’ disastrous numbers. (I do too.)
But here’s where it gets weird. Republican approval ratings aren’t great either — congresscritters are often disliked by voters — but why in the world would you want to see a crumbling Democrat party take back the House of Representatives? Insane.
Emphasis mine:
Republicans in Congress are also in the red, as just 35 percent of respondents said they approve of their performance and 58 percent disapproved. In addition, 47 percent of respondents said they would want to see the Democratic Party win control of the House if the midterms were held today, while 43 percent favored the GOP.
The midterms often go against the party in power, and these numbers show the House is definitely in play. That being said, the Dems could still be in big trouble given the fact that almost nobody seems to like them.
Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
