Sophia Bush, Gayle King and Extra Assist Amy Schumer After Breakup Announcement

Amy Schumer is feeling the love following her split from Chris Fischer.

Following her Dec. 12 announcement that she and the James Beard Award winning chef have decided to part ways after seven years of marriage, the I Feel Pretty actress was showered with support from her fellow stars.

Indeed, Gayle King offered kind words to the couple, who are parents to 6-year-old son Gene.

“Amy been there never easy,” Gayle wrote in the comments of Amy’s Dec. 12 Instagram post. “Only YOU could make THIS announcement w/humor & love….Wishing you BOTH the very best.”

Meanwhile, long-time pal Sophia Bush urged the 44-year-old to have grace with herself while navigating a public divorce.

“It’s so damn hard without having it be hard for the world to see,” Sophia commented. “So when the world sees I’ll just say be extra gentle with yourself.”

And the One Tree Hill alum wanted Amy to know that she’ll be thinking about her throughout this difficult time, adding, “All love.”
