Who Is POORSTACY?
POORSTACY, whose real name was Carlito Milfort, was an American musician who was based in Palm Beach, Florida. He released a large variety of music, which ranged from hip hop, punk rock and heavy metal.
He released his first EP, I Don’t Care, in September 2019 followed by the EP I Don’t Rap in September 2020. Earlier that year, Milfort released his debut album, The Breakfast Club, in March 2020. He then went on to release his second album, Party At the Cemetery, in October 2021.

Some of Milfort’s popular songs include “I Can’t Sleep” with Iann Dior, “Love Spells,” “Public Enemy” and “Children of the Dark.” Additionally, he collaborated on two songs, “Nothing Left” and “Hills Have Eyes,” with Travis Barker.
Milfort was also featured on the soundtrack for the 2020 movie Bill & Ted Face the Music, which was nominated at the 2021 Grammy Awards in the best compilation soundtrack for visual media category.
Rapper POORSTACY Died in November 2025
Milfort died in the early hours of November 29. His death was confirmed by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner, the Boca Raton Police Department told TMZ.
A Boca Raton hotel employee told the outlet that Milfort was transported to a local hospital for a medical emergency on the morning of November 29.

He had reportedly been staying at the hotel for 10 days. Sources told the outlet that he checked in with a woman and a toddler. No one else was reported injured or was hospitalized due to any involvement with Milfort.
What Was POORSTACY’s Cause of Death?
Multiple sources close to the investigation told TMZ that Milfort died by suicide when he shot himself in the Boca Raton hotel room. The outlet reported that he initially survived and was transported to a local hospital, though he later died on December 1 when he was taken off of life support.
However, police have not yet officially confirmed Milfort’s cause of death.
In light of the alleged cause of death, the outlet reported that the rapper’s family doesn’t believe he died by suicide and instead suspect foul play was involved in his passing.
