JUST IN: DOJ Strikes Again At Dems, Launches Probe Into Epstein’s Connections To Clintons, Main Banks
President Trump on Friday demanded the Justice Department launch criminal investigations into a roster of high-profile Democrats — including former President Bill Clinton, ex-Treasury Secretary Larry Summers and billionaire megadonor Reid Hoffman — accusing them of cozy ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.
In a fiery social-media post, Trump ripped Democrats for “using the Epstein Hoax” to deflect from the government shutdown and said federal law enforcement would dig into what he suggested were their links to Epstein’s underage sex-trafficking network.
“This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats,” Trump wrote. “Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island.’ Stay tuned!!!”
Trump said he would be directing Attorney General Pam Bondi “and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI,” to investigate the “involvement and relationship” between Epstein and top Democrats.
Hours later, Bondi confirmed she had already tapped a prosecutor for the probe. “Thank you, Mr. President. SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton is one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country, and I’ve asked him to take the lead,” she wrote on X. “As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people.”

Trump added that investigators should also scrutinize “J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions.”
The demand comes after Democrats dropped a batch of unverified emails this week suggesting Trump’s knowledge of Epstein’s trafficking ring ran deeper than previously known.
On Wednesday, House Democrats released messages in which Epstein claimed Trump had “spent hours at my house” with one of his victims, and that Trump “knew about the girls,” many of whom were later revealed to be underage.

Epstein added in another email: “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop,” referring to Ghislaine Maxwell, later convicted of conspiring in Epstein’s crimes.
Republicans quickly countered by releasing their own set of emails from Epstein’s estate, some of which referenced Trump as well.
The dueling document dumps have reignited a political firestorm over Trump’s past association with Epstein, triggering calls for full public disclosure of everything the government is holding on Epstein’s network and elite connections.
The White House has insisted Trump had no role in Epstein’s crimes, cut ties with him in the mid-2000s, and even banned him from Mar-a-Lago after Epstein tried poaching a spa worker.
“These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday.
“And what President Trump has always said is that he was from Palm Beach and so was Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein was a member at Mar-a-Lago until President Trump kicked him out because Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile and he was a creep.”
