Trader Joe’s is officially getting into the holiday spirit, and fans couldn’t be happier. The grocery chain’s beloved advent calendars have started hitting shelves, signaling that the festive season is soon arriving. 

Popular Instagram account, @traderjoesobsessed posted on October 30 a roundup of Trader Joe’s new holiday advent calendars. 

Alongside the carousel of advent calendars the caption said, “Oh happy day advent calendars are here. They’re so fun but the chocolate doesn’t taste great but it is fun to open them up 😂 ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚 I really like them this year. They also have the same sloth one as last year.”

While shoppers admit the chocolates inside might not be “Swiss quality,” that hasn’t stopped the excitement. 

“You are right, the chocolates are far from Swiss quality lol but it is super fun to open and the design of them is so adorable!!!! 🥰” one fan wrote. Another added, “The designs are adorable!!!”

This year’s collection includes a variety of themed calendars, from classic chocolate-filled options to ones made especially for pets — like the fan-favorite Cat Advent Calendar and Dog Advent Calendar, which include daily treats for furry friends. 

Many fans have already spotted returning favorites like the Sloth Advent Calendar and new winter-themed designs that make for perfect gifts or early holiday décor.
