President Trump’s library is planned to occupy an approximately 2.5 acre parcel of land in downtown Miami, currently an employee parking lot for Miami Dade College. The site selection comes as President Obama’s library is currently under construction with a planned completion late next year and as multiple reports emerge that democrat donors are hesitant to hand over funds for President Biden’s library.
No sooner after Governor Desantis and his cabinet voted to cede the land to the foundation—led by Eric Trump—responsible for overseeing the library, had a disgruntled Florida International University professor, Marvin Dunn, filed a legal complaint urging a reversal. Obviously, the building won’t go up without hearing from angry liberals, but they’ll be met with a strong fight from the right.
