Selena Gomez jetted to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate her bachelorette party with her closest girlfriends, a source exclusively confirms to Journalposts.
“It was a very fun but chill weekend,” the source shares. “These girls have been close to her for over a decade now, so it meant the world to her to celebrate these moments with them.”
In addition to a boat day, the group enjoyed “private dinners with a chef and a villa to themselves with plenty of lounging in the sun,” according to the source.
Gomez, 33, was spotted living it up with longtime friends including Raquelle Stevens, Ashley Cook and Courtney Lopez aboard a yacht on Sunday, August 24. The Only Murders in the Building star wore a strapless black one-piece swimsuit in photos obtained by TMZ, which also showed the women taking selfies, dancing and working on their tans.
“Her girlfriends went out of their way to make Selena feel really special,” the source tells Us, explaining that the revelers placed photos of Gomez’s fiancé, Benny Blanco, “everywhere” and had “personalized decor and outfits” as well as “fun games planned” for the guest of honor.
“It was your typical, traditional bachelorette and what Selena wanted,” the source adds. “She was radiating all weekend and was so happy to have downtime with her girlfriends. Selena is a simple girl, and the little things go a long way with her. She truly exudes happiness when she talks about Benny. She is very excited to start this next chapter with him.”

Meanwhile, Blanco, 37, had a bachelor party in Las Vegas, where he and approximately 20 of his guy pals, including rapper Lil Dicky, stayed at Resorts World.
A second insider tells Us that the men showed up to XS nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas at 2 a.m. on Sunday to watch headliner Marshmello perform. At one point, Blanco left his VIP table to take a photo with the DJ, 33, on stage.

Gomez announced her engagement to Blanco in December 2024 after dating for a year and a half. He proposed with a marquise diamond ring featuring an eternity band.
“Benny had a very sharp idea of what he ultimately envisioned,” jewelry designer Katherine Theofilos Claster later told Page Six, adding, “We wanted the ring to have an elegant lightness for a timeless and forever girl.”
The date of Gomez and Blanco’s wedding is unknown, as he said on the “Therapuss With Jake Shane” podcast in July that they had not “even had time to get into” planning it yet. However, the songwriter promised that the ceremony would be “chill” and “amazing.”
