The Governor of Florida has a new tool to stay in the lines of power after his term as Governor of Florida is done next year.
“Stay informed with the latest updates on politics and national headlines by subscribing to The DeSantis Daily newsletter.” This way, he stays in the faces of his constituents as his term ends. He is truly a political animal. Emphasis on “political”. I prefer animals. They don’t put on a lot of airs.

I read it and was instantly nauseous. Ok. So I’ll never get a job writing for it, but I just HAD to share this with you. And I subscribed! Can’t risk missing a minute of THIS. omg… a DAILY.
Apparently, Lady Casey is not polling very well, and DeGov cannot stand the thought of the Trump-endorsed candidate, Byron Donalds, winning the Governor’s office. SO, out comes another version of Voter Guides, to try to influence his constituents.
Is Elon’s money paying for this??
The first article that caught my eye was the appointment of former Green Beret, Jay Collins, as Lt. Gov, and soon-to-be-pushed Gubernatorial candidate. The appointment was announced with great fanfare at the Tampa Bay Green Beret Assn last Tuesday, Aug.12. Collins was a war hero serving 23 years in Iraq and Afghanistan, and suffering a let amputation while in service to our country. Exemplary record. But, I have to wonder…
Does Lt. Governor Collins know about DeGov, VETOING funding for the Santa Rosa Veterans Treatment Court? I’d think not. But, if SO, he’s as big a phony as his new boss.
Back to the old “clueless or complicit” thing. If you are clueless, you are complicit. Big ask for a newly anointed candidate, to know all the underhanded stuff in Tallahassee, but if he intends to be considered a serious candidate, in this day and age, he’d better know most of it. Florida’s America First citizens will be watching closely.
Collins DID attend the RINO rally, the Florida Freedom Forum, recently in Miami, so he may be down with it all. We know that many America First Republicans were there, outside protesting. Have to wonder if Mr. Collins saw this and commented. If he did, his thoughts may never reach the light of day… If they don’t, you know who he is.

Here’s what DeSantis really accomplished with this move – he put his own guy in position to take on Trump’s handpicked candidate for governor. So the Daily admits now, that DeSantis is NOT MAGA.

NB FLORIDA! DeSantis is declaring war on a Trump-supported nominee. The only thing surprising about this is the openness. Guess it’s time for the gloves to be off.
Governor Ronald B. DeSantis is NOT now, nor ever has been, America First, as his advance team told the Hillsborough REC several years ago. He has never fooled as many as he’d intended.
If Mr. Collins is also a Trump-hating RINO, Florida needs to know. NOW.
I don’t care for Mr. Donalds myself, but I accept that as something from the Trump inner circle, and that is a subject for another time. But, the new DeSantis Daily, in all its “vain-gloriness” is something Florida needs to know about. NOW.

The air in Tallahassee is full of swamp gas. Will its new inhabitant, Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, notice? Will he gag or breathe deeply?
