CNN Reporter Melts Down on Live TV After Obama Bombshell Rocks Russiagate Narrative – WATCH
Former President Barack Obama’s referral for criminal prosecution has the media scrambling to absorb the news and its implications across the political landscape.
CNN correspondent Jeff Zeleny appeared to lose his ability to communicate while telling viewers what he witnessed in the White House briefing room.
While attempting to describe new revelations in the Russiagate hoax as outdated, Zeleny became visibly confused.
“We have no idea… I mean this is hardly information that we should be repeating,” he said from the White House lawn.
“Never mind that it’s, um, seven, um, seven years, eight years after the fact.”

Zeleny then slammed Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who recently laid out new allegations against Obama, Hillary Clinton, and some of their top officials.
“But um, just look at the source,” he continued. “I’m not sure that this White House wants to, uh, talk about, and I’m not sure that we should spend that much more time on it.”
CNN has devoted plenty of ink and airtime to the original Russiagate scandal, which became central to their reporting following the release of a U.S. intelligence report concluding that Russia attempted to influence the 2016 election.
The report, however, was later contradicted by special counsel Robert Mueller, who testified before Congress that the FBI should never have pursued the investigation.
When President Trump took office in 2017, CNN personalities such as Jim Acosta regularly challenged the administration during White House briefings.
But now, Acosta is out of a job, and Jake Tapper is focused on selling a book. The playing field seems to have shifted dramatically.
As the Trump administration trains its focus on Obama, CNN has been accused of trying to divert viewer attention by reviving narratives around Trump’s recent health scare.
This week, a conservative journalist reported that a CNN guest who suggested Trump’s health may be worse than the White House is letting on had never practiced medicine beyond residency.
The story was later scrubbed from CNN’s website after Chris Parnall was exposed as a social justice activist who had been fired from a previous job for anti-Trump behavior.
Earlier this month, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller announced that the administration had launched an investigation into CNN over its segment promoting a smartphone app that alerts illegal immigrants about nearby U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.
