Who Is Hailee Steinfeld’s Husband Josh Allen?
Josh might be known as Hailee’s husband to some fans, though he is an established athlete in his own right.
After playing football at the University of Wyoming, Josh was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2018. He became the team’s starting quarterback and led them to achieve several victories, including securing five consecutive division titles.

Josh had another major milestone in his career when he was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024 football season.
“And, last but not least, my fiancée Hailee. You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend,” he said while directing his attention to her in the audience. “I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
Josh then wrapped up the speech with a positive message. “Be good. Do good. God bless. And Go Bills,” he said.
When Did Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Start Dating?
Josh and Hailee were first romantically linked in May 2023. The Pitch Perfect star quickly embraced her life in Buffalo, New York, and she has attended several of Josh’s games to cheer him on.
“Hailee and Josh are super serious about each other,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in October 2024. “They’ve made a home together in Buffalo.”
They kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight, so fans were delighted to learn that they got engaged in November 2024.
Following their engagement, Hailee began to open up more about their romance with Josh. While speaking to Who What Wear in February 2025, the True Grit star admitted that the proposal was a complete surprise.
“Oh my God, no!” she said when asked if she had any suspicions about the proposal happening. “You talk to your girlfriends about that, right, where you’re like, ‘I just don’t want to know.’”
Hailee went on to gush that the proposal was one of the best moments of her life. “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” she said.
She also revealed that Josh encouraged her to dress up before he popped the question. “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’” she said.
Meanwhile, Josh has also shown his support for Hailee while discussing her role in the 2025 film Sinners. “It was awesome,” he told reporters about the movie during a press conference in April 2025, which was shared via video.
“It was a different world, a very cool experience,” the professional athlete continued. “I’m so excited for her and so proud of her, and it’s getting some great reviews. It’s a fantastic movie, so go watch it.”

The couple wed at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, on May 31, 2025. Hailee looked stunning in a strapless white gown with opera gloves and a long veil. She carried a single white rose in her hand while walking down the aisle to marry Josh.
