Vin Diesel’s 7 Most Iconic Quotes From the 'Fast & Furious' Franchise

For those crazy about action movies and cars, no movie franchise combines greater chases, heists, and street racing quite like Fast & Furious. Its move from films solely based on street racing to an action movie powerhouse filled with brotherhood, love, and too many explosive (literally) scenes to count, was what made it such a huge box office success. Although the films were never quite the same after the death of Paul Walker in 2013, action-movie star Vin Diesel has continued to reprise his role of intimidating street racer Dominic Toretto in the ever-popular Fast and Furious movie franchise.

Before you catch the high-octane Fast X: Part 2 in 2026, take a trip down memory lane. Here are the best quotes from Toretto.

Note: Possible spoilers ahead.

This was said by Toretto early on in the series’ original film and set the tone for a strenuous, but fruitful relationship between Toretto and Brian O’Conner (Walker).

In what was truly one of the more emotional scenes in the entire “Fast & Furious” franchise so far, Toretto tells O’Conner the story behind his father’s death and why he doesn’t race his Dodge Charger.

This iconic line from Furious 7 comes from a scene where Dom is facing off against Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Deckard probes Dom and asks if he’s ever heard of the idiom, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” to which Dom says, “I don’t have friends, I got family.”
