Spencer Pratt Reveals Taylor Swift Merch Survived L.A. Home Fire

Long live! Spencer Pratt revealed he has at least one piece of his prized Taylor Swift merchandise that survived the devastating Palisades fire that destroyed the home he shared with wife Heidi Montag.

Spencer, 41, posted a TikTok video on Wednesday, January 8, where he responded to a fan who previously told him “All your Swifty crap prob gone.”

In the video set to Taylor’s 2021 hit “Ready for It?” The Hills alum showed himself standing on the beach wearing a white sweater with “Taylor Swift” written across the front in red block lettering.

Fans went wild that Spencer still had Taylor gear after losing nearly everything in the Tuesday, January 7, blaze.

“They said ‘take the essentials with you’ — he understood the assignment,” one person cheered, while another wrote, “Your family just lost everything and here you are being an icon.”

“I hope she sees this and sends you new clothing. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. God bless,” one fan wrote regarding Taylor, 35, while another person added a similar sentiment, writing, “OMG true icon. Taylor Swift please send him a whole new wardrobe of Swiftie gear.”

Spencer shared the heartbreaking news early in the morning hours of Wednesday, January 8, that the home he shared with, Heidi, 38, and their two sons, Ryker and Gunner, was lost in the fire that raged through Pacific Palisades, California, as well as Malibu, destroying hundreds of homes and businesses.

He posted a TikTok video of flames with the caption, “Nightmare came true.” The day prior, when the fire was threatening his house, Spencer was giving fans updates on what was happening.

“We got a fire going on behind the house here, say a prayer for the Palisades here, there’s the town, there is the fire…” Spencer said as he panned the camera to show fans how close it was. “OK, that’s pretty black smoke, [I] should go home and start packing up the house.”

A few hours later, he updated fans with the news that their home had caught fire, sharing an clip in an Instagram Story reading, “Update: I’m watching our house burn down on the security cameras.”

Heidi shared her heartbreak in a tear-filled TikTok video on Wednesday, January 8. She was holding Ryker, 2, and sobbed, “It really just comes in waves but I just really want to go home.”

“I want to see all my stuff and sit on my couch,” she added. “I’m so homesick.” Heidi’s caption read, “Missing home.”

The former reality star followed up the post with another TikTok video. She explained, “The craziest thing when packing for a fire is that your brain just freaks out. You’re like, ‘What do I need? What do I not need?’ It’s so overwhelming.”

Heidi said she only grabbed two shirts and two pairs of jeans for herself. “I got so much more clothes for the kids. I’m like why didn’t I grab more?” she continued. “Obviously the main thing is that we’re safe and got out.”

She became emotional again, telling fans, “A part of you just wants to leave stuff and thinking like, ‘I’m coming back. You know, ‘of course I’m coming back.’”

“It just kinda comes in waves,” she said of her emotional roller coaster. “God uses everything for good. I don’t know how or why or anything but I do know God uses everything for good.”
