Mass Shooting in Townson, Maryland Leaves One Dead, Nine Injured – JP
A shooting in Towson, Maryland, on Tuesday evening left one person dead and nine others injured, according to Baltimore County police. The incident occurred near Loch Raven Boulevard around 7:15 p.m., where authorities also found a vehicle engulfed in flames.
“When officers arrived, they found a vehicle on its side and in flames,” Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough said during a press conference. “Multiple victims were discovered, and the fire department was alerted to provide assistance.”
“This appears to be intentional,” McCullough said. “We believe the individuals involved knew each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.”

Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski described the event as a rare and shocking tragedy for the area, pledging full support for law enforcement and emergency responders as they work to identify those responsible.
Authorities have asked residents to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
