Rosie O’Donnell Lashes Out At TIME For Naming Trump Person Of The Year: ‘F*** You’
Rosie O’Donnell is at it again. The comedian and longtime foe of President-elect Donald Trump unleashed an expletive-laden tirade on social media after TIME Magazine named Trump their 2024 Person of the Year.
“If Mark Burnett sold America on The Apprentice, we wouldn’t be in this position,” O’Donnell fumed in a fiery video posted to Tik-Tok. “But you equated, you normalized Trump. And that’s what TIME Magazine did. Man of the Year, Donald Trump. Well, f*** you, TIME Magazine.”
“F*ck you, seriously. How about Most Dangerous Man of the Year? How about Most Criminal Man of the Year? How about the worst president we’ve ever had of the year? Man of the year. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. There wasn’t one person you could think of who deserved it more than that lying, r*pist, criminal guy,” she continued.
The 62-year-old actress, who has never hidden her disdain for the 45th and 47th president, didn’t stop there. She criticized TIME for failing to look beyond Trump, ranting, “Man of the year should be changed to human of the year. Start to look at some of the women. Okay, patriarchal f***s.”

O’Donnell’s comments spiraled into broader grievances, accusing Trump of “taking over for the second time” with a “corrupt Supreme Court” at his side. “He has immunity for anything he wants to do, including using the Department of Justice once again as his own private lawyers to go after people that he doesn’t think are American enough or for him enough,” she claimed.
This isn’t the first time O’Donnell and Trump have clashed publicly. Their infamous feud began in 2006 when she criticized Trump’s business ethics on The View, prompting Trump to call her a “loser” and a “real dummy.” Since then, O’Donnell has remained one of Trump’s most vocal celebrity critics, with her latest tirade proving that some grudges never die.

Trump beat out contenders including Kamala Harris, Kate Middleton, Elon Musk, and Benjamin Netanyahu and a cavalcade of influential figures TIME named this year. He last graced the magazine’s cover after surviving the July 13th assassination attempt when a gunman struck his ear with a high-caliber rifle round before Secret Service agents tackled Trump to the stage floor.
Rather than bear crawl his way to safety, Trump rose, pumping his fist repeatedly and encouraging the crowd to “fight” in a moment emblazoned by the magazine. This time around, Trump appears as a pensive president-elect, sitting deep in thought while leaning over his right knee.
Trump also earned the distinguished honor in 2016 following his surprise victory, a decision which TIME took heat for from the left and drew comparisons to its decision to honor Adolf Hitler as its 1938 TIME Person of the Year. The outlet told Politico this week that it does not comment on deliberations about how or why it chooses to award the annual recipient. “It means a lot, especially me growing up reading TIME magazine. And, you know, it’s a very important magazine,” Trump said at the time.
Love him or hate him, Trump remains the headline—and for Rosie O’Donnell, the thorn in her side.
