Who Is Bozoma Saint John? Meet the 'RHOBH' Season 14 Star
The return of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 14 brought a lot of changes for the bougie women of the Bravo hit, including a new full time castmate, Bozoma Saint John.
Bozoma will throw herself into an already swirling cocktail of drama as she joins returning Housewives Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Sutton Stracke. Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton and Sutton’s best friend, Jennifer Tilly, will also be making guest appearances throughout the season.
Who Is Bozoma Saint John?
One of the most independently successful women ever to appear on RHOBH, Bozoma boasts years of executive experience and stunning recognition at the highest rungs of corporate America.
Born in Ghana, the businesswoman moved to Colorado at age 12. After graduating from Wesleyan, she began her career in marketing, eventually rising to serve as Global Chief Marketing Officer of Netflix, CMO of Endeavor, Chief Business Officer of Uber, Head of Marketing at Apple Music and iTunes and the Head of Music and Entertainment Marketing at Pepsi.
Bozoma made such a splash in the business world she was crowned Forbes’ Most Influential CMO in 2021. She’s also an author of a powerful memoir titled The Urgent Life: My Story of Love, Loss, and Survival about her experiences losing her husband and other loved ones while still prevailing.
The trials she faced helped her ultimately create The Bad Ass Workshop, which aims to empower women by expanding their “boundaries for career, health and wellness, lifestyle, relationships, goals and so much more.”
Is Bozoma Saint John Married?
Bozoma was married to Peter Saint John for just over ten years before he died of cancer in December 2013, leaving the Ghanaian beauty a widow.
Bozoma wrote that “after Peter died, I felt helpless. The smallest decisions overwhelmed me. I had to figure out how to take the shards out of my life,” in an article for CNBC Make It.
Unwilling to let the tragedy drag her and her family down, she resolved to pick up the pieces and carry on forward, using the lessons she learned after her husband’s death to pen her memoir.
“From Peter, I learned to live life with urgency. To take the trip, to call a friend, to cut out the toxic person — not next week, not next year, but as soon as the thought crosses my heart. I don’t delay. I don’t count on a future that isn’t promised,” the newest Housewife wrote.
Does Bozoma Saint John Have Children?
Bozoma had two daughters with her late husband Peter: Eve and Lael. Though, in another cruel act of fate, Eve died following a premature birth.
“I love [Eve] more today than when she was born — even though she’s not physically here, even though I don’t know what her eye color would have been, what she would have loved to eat, or what would have made her laugh,” she wrote.
“Now, before every business trip, I write my living daughter Lael notes, especially if I leave early in the morning before she’s awake.”
“I place them on her pillow so that if, God forbid, something happens to me, she’ll know that the last thought her mother had as she walked out the door was that she loved her.”
