A U.S. Marine Corps veteran from California, Catherine Banks, was reportedly removed from a Delta Air Lines flight on Wednesday due to the shirt she was wearing.

According to NBC Bay Area, the incident occurred at San Francisco International Airport when a flight attendant approached Banks and addressed the issue with her attire.

“Do not give in to the war within. End veteran suicide,” one image showed Banks’ shirt.

The details of the situation, including why it led to her removal, were not immediately clear.

According to Banks, a male flight attendant told her she needed to exit the plane.

This case has sparked concerns over free speech and the potential overreach of airline policies. Delta Air Lines has yet to provide a statement on the matter, and the incident is being closely watched for further developments.

“I feel like they just took my soul away. I’m not a bad person, and that T-shirt, I should be allowed to support myself and veterans,” Banks said.
