Love Is Blind’s Hannah Jiles Tried Ozempic for Weight Loss

Love Is Blind star Hannah Jiles slammed claims that her recent weight loss was a result of her using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic.

“Everyone’s saying I am on Ozempic. I did try Ozempic. Back in the spring, I tried it for two weeks, I think,” Hannah, 27, told People in an article published on Thursday, October 17. “And unfortunately, I think it’s an amazing thing, but it made me so sick I couldn’t take it. Trust me, I would take it if I could, but it was just all me.”

The reality star revealed that she was in the middle of her weight loss journey when she filmed Love Is Blind season 7.

“If weight is something that I’m super insecure about, then I need to change that. And so I just work towards it,” Hannah told the publication. “It’s wild that everyone just thinks I’m just a liar and stuff. I just really tried hard.”

She continued, “I still don’t really like working out, but I just try to move as much as possible. And if I can do Pilates or yoga, that’s the best I can do because I’m not going running. It’s just not me. And I just don’t eat a lot. Not changing what I eat, just how much I ate and just trying to move more.”

While Hannah didn’t need the help of medicine to lose weight, she did admit that she’s had some other cosmetic procedures done since she was in the pods.

“Since [the show], I’ve gotten Botox, I’ve gotten lip injections, got hair extensions, I’ve done things like that. But I haven’t changed who I am or have done anything. I had a goal and I was going to get there,” the West Virginia native explained.

Fans saw Hannah struggle choosing between Nick Dorka and Leo Braudy during Love Is Blind season 7. She initially broke things off with Nick after fearing he might be more of a player than she originally thought, but she quickly decided she’d made the wrong choice and the two got back together.

Unfortunately, Nick, 29, and Hannah’s relationship began to crumble once they left the pods. She’s been deemed the “mean girl” of the season by viewers who thought she was way too harsh on Nick. Critics have flooded Hannah’s Instagram with comments accusing her of being “abusive” to Nick with the way she spoke to him.

However, Hannah insisted that she still “stands 10 toes down” and “doesn’t regret” what she said to Nick during their breakup in a previous interview with People. She did admit that she “recognized” that her treatment of the Virginia-based realtor was less than ideal.

“By the end of it, I was like, at this point, I don’t have anything nice to say. I’m just saying mean things and that’s cruel to him. And it’s cruel to me as well, like what am I doing? We’re just bringing out the worst in each other,” Hannah said in the interview with the outlet published on Wednesday, October 16. “Watching it back, it’s a lot … The way I acted was very cruel and it was very demeaning towards him. I wish I didn’t do it in that way.”

Hannah and Nick broke things off before even making it to the altar, but there are three couples left with a chance to say “I do.” The Love Is Blind season 7 finale premieres on Netflix on October 23.
