Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted at Yankees Stadium for ALCS
Taylor Swift traded the football field for a baseball diamond, attending Game 1 of the American League Championship series at Yankee Stadium with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Taylor, 34, looked sporty chic per usual, opting to keep a low profile in a baseball cap and dark jacket as she sat in a private box with her boyfriend, as seen in social media photos from the game. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, matched her swag by wearing a similar version of the incognito look.
New York Yankees coach Aaron Boone teased two special guests for Monday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians, telling reporters earlier that day that he heard the A-listers would be in the Bronx for the first game of the series.
The “Blank Space” songstress and NFL player have seemingly been enjoying the athlete’s bye week as he is not scheduled to step on the football field until Kansas City faces the San Francisco 49ers on October 20. Meanwhile, Taylor is gearing up to hit the road again on Friday, October 18, as her Eras tour is set to resume in Miami, Florida.
Travis and Taylor will likely be spending a lot of time apart in the next coming weeks, as Travis will be in the height of football season and Taylor will be spending her weekends performing on stage. After a weekend in Miami, she’ll head to New Orleans and Indianapolis, followed by two weekends in Toronto before the tour ends in Vancouver at the beginning of December.
The pair were recently spotted over the weekend on multiple romantic date nights in the Big Apple. On Friday, October 11, Taylor and Travis stepped out for a date night with friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at Soho hot spot The Corner Store.
The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer donned a sassier look than normal, wearing a black mini skirt, black corset-style Gucci top and black booties, while Travis complemented her in a navy button down and pants with white tennis shoes.
Meanwhile, one day later, Travis and Taylor headed to Torrisi restaurant on Saturday, October 12. Taylor stepped out in a velvet green corset top and skirt, paired with chunky black heels, while the athlete opted for a baby blue Marni chunky-knit polo and camel-colored combat pants.
However, what really caught fans’ attention was her $1,083 Roberto Cavalli monogram bag, featuring a gold “R” and two intertwined “C” shapes formed by snakes. Fans, eagerly awaiting Taylor’s rerecorded Reputation album, speculated this could be an easter egg from the singer that it’s coming soon.
Snakes became the defining symbol of Taylor’s Reputation era in 2017 after Kim Kardashian famously called her a “snake” online. Instead of shying away from the remark, Taylor embraced it, making the snake a central theme of the album and even featuring a giant snake on stage during her 2018 Reputation tour as well as her current tour.
Reputation is one of six albums the pop star is rerecording to earn the rights back to her masters. She’s already dropped rerecords for Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989, leaving just Reputation and the self-titled Taylor Swift to still be released. Taylor has yet to announce when they will be coming out.
