The majority of Americans are bracing themselves for another assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump before the November U.S. presidential election, according to a new survey.

Rasmussen Reports found that 65% of Americans expect another Trump assassination attempt.

The former president has already survived two attempts on his life this year, one at his rally in Bulter, Pennsylvania, and the second at Trump’s West Palm Beach, Fla. golf course.

According to the poll, two-thirds of likely voters “say it is likely that there will be more assassination attempts against Trump between now and Election Day, including 32% who believe it’s Very Likely.”

“Just 21% don’t think another assassination attempt is likely, while 14% are not sure,” Rasmussen said.

Over 1,114 likely voters were surveyed in the poll between Sept. 18-19 and Sept. 22, just days after the second attempt on Trump’s life.

Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard also weighed in on the poll, writing on X:

“New Rasmussen poll reveals the disturbing results of the decade-long dehumanization campaign against Trump by the Democratic Party and the Propaganda Media: 28% of Democrats are quietly rooting for Trump’s assassination.”

“This is a symptom of the moral rot and bankruptcy of today’s Democrat Party and the Propaganda Media.’

Meanwhile, high-profile political figures, including Matt Gaetz, are warning that “assassination teams” have been mobilized to target Trump ahead of the election following revelations from Secret Service whistleblowers that Routh knew about security vulnerabilities.

Gaetz told Real America’s Voice he received some disturbing news on the assassination attempt.

“I had a senior official from the Department of Homeland Security in my office before the second assassination attempt saying what he has assessed is that there are five known assassination teams in the United States, three inspired by other governments, two that are here that are known domestic assassination teams,” said Gaetz.

Trump’s son, Eric Trump, also suggested the second assassination attempt was likely an “inside job.”

“Everybody had better entertain it,” Trump said.

“Everybody had better entertain everything, right? I never thought I’d say this again. I’m not that tinfoil hat guy, I’m actually a very sane human being and I think there’s a lot of conspiracy theories out there that are absolutely insane.”
