Kamala Harris's Pre-Recorded Radio Interview 'Delayed' Because of 'Technical Issues'

Since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee last month, Kamala Harris has been doing everything she can to avoid the media. Now, her recent softball prerecorded interview with black radio host Rickey Smiley is having problems.

If the Vice President’s recent interview with CNN‘s Dana Bash is anything to go by, it’s no wonder the Harris campaign is panicking about her upcoming radio appearance.

Harris’s interview with Smiley was meant to air on Friday.

However, it’s now been delayed due to “technical difficulties.”

Looks like the Harris campaign is demanding that the interview be edited.

This happened with Joe Biden‘s campaign when they demanded that a radio station edit his interview before it aired.

Earlier this year, Biden did two pre-recorded radio interviews, ne with Wisconsin-based WAUK and the other with Philly-based WURD.

Both radio hosts later admitted that Biden’s team demanded that they make two edits before the interview aired.

It starkly contrasts former president Donald Trump, who delivers hard-ball interviews after hard-ball interviews and is very clear on his policies.

As we reported earlier this week, many in the Democrats feel that if Harris focuses on “character” rather than actual policy, she will have a much better chance of beating Trump.

“I actually think the way the American people think about this choice is less about the minutiae of policy and more about the direction of the country, number one, and secondly, about the person. Character it does matter,” Michigan Rep. Dan Kildee told CNN.

“If it turns on character, this election is over. That’s what people are looking for.”
