Locals in Shock as All-Male 'Military-Aged' Migrant Centre Opens Just Feet Away From School
New York locals sending their children back to school this week were stunned to find that an all-male migrant center opened up just mere “feet away” from City Life Academy, a private Christian school for grades K – 12.
Yes, really.
Brooklyn resident and mother of 3, Irina Edelstein, expressed outrage at the close positioning of the center to the school, saying city officials did not tell them anything about it.
“No one told us from the city side about the shelter’s coming up,” she explained.
She continued:
“We found out from local residents when they stopped us at the pickup and they said, did you guys know right around the corner here, the shelter’s opening up for 400 men.”
“None of us knew. Even the principal didn’t know.”
Fox News reported that city officials did not follow environmental testing protocols and violated other building codes to accelerate the shelter’s opening, according to an investigation by the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
“Our school hosted the meeting where council members said that ‘we reached out to all the schools, we spoke to all the principals,’ which is absolutely not true,” Edelstein said.
Over 200,000 illegals flooded New York since 2022.
The city has since spent an eye-watering $1.45 billion on caring for the migrants, while Mayor Eric Adams announced a 5 percent budget cut in September of that year.
If the figures for feeding and housing the migrants aren’t shocking enough, there is also the issue of public safety.
Edelstein recalled how two illegals were trying to break into her car while she picked her children up from school.
Earlier this month, an illegal was arrested after allegedly raping a woman at knifepoint, the Daily Caller reported.
The man had already been arrested for rape once, only to be released back into the community.
Another r illegal allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint.
Over in California, the same problem persists with reports of illegals attempting to hijack school buses full of children.
The illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris administration has been an unmitigated disaster.
